Mexico is a land of smiling faces, rich culture, stunning landscapes, great food, beautiful cities, and gorgeous beaches. Unfortunately, it also has a bad reputation surrounding violence and drug trafficking. Despite its reputation, we ventured into Mexico cautiously, but with open minds and ready to see what it was all about for ourselves.
We did not expect to fall in love with Mexico they way we did and if you’re willing to venture off the well-trodden gringo path of this country, you will see why. Covering almost 2,000,000 square kilometers, there is something for everybody to enjoy.
City slickers, check out our top 10 cities. Nature lovers, the Barrancas del Cobre, Cañón del Sumidero, Cascadas de Agua Azul, and the pink lakes of Las Coloradas are not to be missed. If ruins are more your thing, the sites at Teotihuacán, Chichén Itzá, Tulum, and Chacchoben will have you covered.
