Day 3: Monday, Oct. 24 – Visiting Eureka.

Day 3: Monday, Oct. 24
So, after the previous night had been quite windy, and then it started pouring rain in the morning, I decided that traveling with heavy rain would not be the best idea, so I extended my stay in Eureka’s KOA and spent the time transfering stuff between the cams and the mac, reading stuff, and having a long good nap… Then when the rain stopped around 4:30pm I decided to head for the city of Eureka.
Eureka is a pretty small city (28,000 inhabitants more or less, possibly counting the fishes), but it has its charm. Many people know many other people in the city, and you can see that in pubs… well, in the only pub I found, a local brewery called Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe, pretty friendly in fact. Food was so-so, but my expectations were not so high anyway and at least I ate enough to compensate for my skipped lunch 🙂
A few pics, and in particular the Halloween atmosphere in all stores of the city…

    1. Exactly… That’s why I shot the pic… I just didn’t make a wish… I was scared I could get bigger even 😀
