Day 14: Breaking Bad in Albuquerque

We started our first morning in Albuquerque a bit later than usual, but with the usual breakfast at Starbucks. We decided to spend the day doing a Breaking Bad tour so we looked up all the shooting locations of the show and visited the ones we wanted to see.

We were successful in finding some of the locations and failed with others like Saul Goodman’s office (ALL the stores and offices in the complex had the same address and we had trouble recalling from memory), Gus Fring’s house (we went to the wrong house – oops!), and a few less significant ones.

The day was hot and sunny so after a lunch break, we finished the tour and decided to hit up the Old Town. It started pouring rain as soon as we parked the bike – talk about perfect timing. It rained heavily for a few minutes and then went back to being warm and sunny after I successfully took on the appearance of a scraggly wet cat.

We walked around, took some pictures, bought some postcards, ate some ice cream, and then headed back to our room for the evening.
