Days 288 – 294: Preparing for take-off!

Our last week in Panama was a rainy one (surprise!), but we didn’t have much planned in the way of sight-seeing. A few visits to the mall and a date night was all we did aside from packing. We planned to put the bike on a plane and fly over the Darien Gap since we are not crazy brave enough to go through the dense jungle full of things that want to kill anyone who dares to travel through.

We made arrangements and went early to the Air Cargo Pack terminal on Thursday morning to have our precious bike packed up and ready to fly to Colombia. We were sad, bikeless beings for our last few days in Central America 🙁

The Border Crossings page has been updated with information on how we got to Colombia with the bike.

Bike is all packed in and ready to fly
